Attending a Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) course is a life experience. This course will meet you wherever you are in your life and provide you with a supportive and nourishing group environment to explore bringing mindfulness into your life. MINDFULNESS BASED STRESS REDUCTION

This course was developed by Jon Kabat-Zinn at the University of Massachusetts in 1979. This course is now accepted as a valuable approach for facilitating physical and psychological health. It is offered in many medical settings, and in modified forms in schools, universities, workplaces and prisons over the world. In healthcare, it is at the forefront of participatory medicine.  

MBSR is an educational-based course of 30 hours: eight 2.5 - 3.0 hour sessions and one full day. Mindfulness meditation, mindful movement and health education form the core of the program. The course is an invitation to live fully through the development of mindfulness as a life skill. It is worthy of the commitment that is expected of participants, who, for the duration of the course are recommended to dedicate time each day to home practice. Course fee and structure: 

Courses are run during school terms with city and Adelaide Hills venues.

The fee for the course is $695.00 (inc GST) including the eight sessions, retreat day, weekly communication, course manual and recordings via CDs and Dropbox file.

An early bird discounted fee of $620.00 full payment is required four weeks before the course commences.

Ask your accountant whether you are eligible for a tax deduction. A small portion of the course may be covered by your private insurance extras PT560 - please request an itemised account when you enrol.
